Your major claim to fame is being an Internet saavy communicator. My books are on Amazon and Barnes and Noble and the ISBNs are posted to the Wikipedia page you’ve edited.

“Some guy” posted an entry that quoted your own words, with no expectation other than that the community of which I have been a part for ten years would have something, or many things, to say about it.

As I bought only your E-book, I was unaware there was a P-version. Could you make that clearer on your site, please? It’s not like I went cross-checking ISBNs. I didn’t claim Androphilia was electronic-only (an unlikely scenario, as I read the P-book via interlibrary loan).

I will, however, take it as an offhand compliment that I qualify as a “guy.” And did you mean to write that graf in the second or third person?

Sorry to disappoint, as a 34-year-old – I didn’t know what I had then, and I’d been domineered into being a nothing, a spineless brain. Mom didn’t know how much of the kool-aid she’d been drinking, and I’m still dealing with the problems that resulted.
For some of us – FAR too many, based on who I knew in high school and college, and they weren’t all geeks/nerds/whatever – there is no pride or glory to recall.
Lots of anger, though, lots of loathing of both self and others, taught by the institutions we were entrusted to (catholic parochial schools, prep school, colleges), the media of the day (TV cartoons, newspapers, magazines), and the adults we should have been able to trust (mothers, fathers, grandparents, etc.)

So – I’m working on straightening things out now, I just need to get rid of the female parasite in my life.

Hello! I came across your site while searching for mentions of the Teddy Roosevelt inscription- I finally took the time to read it today, as part of a class project (I’m a student at Portland State) and was blown away by the beauty of the quote.

Anyhow, I wanted to comment on how happy the term “Technicolor bacon” made me. I have always been amazed that such awful art is displayed at all, let alone so near to the rest of the historic statuary in the south park blocks. At least now, I can find some humor whenever I pass the aforementioned bacon on the street.

Great lyrics. At 45 now I can relate. I just wish so many of the young guys I see every day can look back in their forties and recapture the pride of their youth. Sadly, I don’t think most of them will be able to. I pity the poor bastards.
