About ME

For the past 20 years,  I’ve been writing and speaking about masculinity, myth, and philosophy. My books have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and been translated into six languages. 

But I didn’t start out as a writer. I went to art school in New York City. I’ve spent a lifetime developing a sharp and distinctive aesthetic sensibility. 

Along the way, I took a lot of photos, shot a lot of video, and collaborated with world-class creators. 

My work has always been about, as Nietzsche might put it, encouraging men to “become what they are.” 

I believe that we’ve entered a new age, where we need to show more than tell.

Fewer words. More vibes.

I believe we need new myths and new heroes. New eagles in the sky. 

I’ve got the eye, and I want to help other men show what they can do, as they become what they are. 

Now is a time for action and excellence.
